Day 9 I'm sad

July 23, 2014

I am really sad because I am leaving today.

I had so much fun with Aunt Jo, Uncle Brad, Steph, Topher and Grannie.  Today I decided to write about some fun and funny moments of things that happened during the trip.

1

.    1.  At the Orlando airport there is a glass box with a statue of a guy in it.  It looks so real.  I couldn’t tell  that it was fake, even looking at it super close.  Here is a picture of me by the box.

2.  At the Magic Kingdom, we were at a jewelry store on Main Street.

We were looking at bracelets in a jewelry case.  A woman in front of us at the counter asked if they had any Winnie the Pooh bracelets.  The guy working there said “Who is Winnie the Pooh”?  He was serious.  He looked very confused.  Later we all laughed and said we couldn’t believe that someone working at Disney didn’t know who Pooh was.  Doesn’t everyone know who Winnie the Pooh is??  It turns out that the young guy was an intern from China and would be working at Disney for only 2 months.

3.  Aunt Jo’s dogs Raider and Brady kept jumping all over me.  They would fight over who got to sit with me.  I was so sad to leave them to because they are so fun to play with.

4.  When my cousin Topher (Christopher) and I took our annual picture in the pool at Jo’s house, we had to retake the picture, jumping in and out of the pool.  It was dark outside and it was raining.  It was hard for my Grannie to get a picture that was good.

  5.  When we went to dinner one evening, we made a funny story out of different words, like Mad Libs.  It was fun and we laughed a lot.

I am really sad because we have to leave.  I still have the memories of all the fun times we had.

On the trip home, Grannie and I flew in first class.  I tried something new when they served the meal.

I tried Chicken Marsala.  It was kind of good.  It was a little weird with brown sauce all over it, but it was ok for airline food.

I am really sad to leave because I don’t get to see Christopher very much.  Hopefully I’ll get to see him in Kentucky sometime.  I had a wonderful time and I look forward to next year’s trip.

Day 8 My Top 5 Memories

July 22, 2014

Today I am going to tell you about my top 5 favorite memories from my trip!

1.  Riding Magic Kingdom's Splash Mountain and Magic Kingdom's Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Because I always said I was going to ride them and I never did AND then I finally wore my big girl pants and conquered my greatest Disney fears!  I finally rode my first roller coasters.

2.  Going night swimming with my cousins Topher (Christopher) and Steph!

Last years pool picture

It was so much fun because we played lots of games.  Topher and I took our annual picture.  We had so much fun!!

3.  Making a cookie cake with Stephanie

It was so fun because I got to spend time with Step and I decorated the cookie cake to look the Little Mermaid.  We also watched one of my favorite movies movies, Frozen.  I was really tired and didn't quite make to the end of the movie.

4.  Beating my Granny at the Magic Kingdom's Buzz Light Year ride

Every year my Granny and I have a competition on the Buzz Light Year ride.  You shoot a lazer gun on targets and try and get the highest score.  Granny has won every year but this year I finally beat
her at this game!!!

5.  The Great Movie Ride

The Great Movie Ride at Hollywood Studios is my 5th favorite moment because it is really cool to see a lot of different movies, both old and current.  In the middle of the ride the tour guide gets stolen and a bad guy takes you through the next part of the ride.  The original tour guide comes back towards the end.  You will have to ride this to see how it all turns out.

I wanted to add one more of my favorite memories so I guess it is my top 6 memories.  My sixth favorite memory is my all time favorite ride at the Magic Kingdom.  I have already told you about it and it is Epcot's Soarin'.

Finally you will have to check back to find out why I will be sad to write tomorrow's blog!  See you then!

Day 7 Downtown Disney

July 21, 2014

Today we checked out of our hotel and we will be staying at Aunt Jo and Uncle Brad's until we leave.  We went to Downtown Disney.  At the Disney Princess shop, they have a Magic Mirror.  You stand in front of the mirror and magically all the different Disney Princess costumes appear on you.  Here is a picture of me standing in front of the Magic Mirror.

We looked at lots of different Vinylmations.  I bought one and guess what??  It was the same Mickey that I already had!  Twins!!!!  I love going to Downtown Disney but today was really hot and I was ready to go to Aunt Jo's so Christopher, Stephanie and I could swim.

I went night swimming with Topher and Stephanie.  Topher is Christopher's nickname.   We played lots of games in the pool.  Some of the games we played were Color, Candy Bar, Animals and Sharks and Minnows.  Color is a game where you think of a color and somebody tries to guess what color you are thinking of and if they guess the right color, the other person has to swim away before they catch you.  It was fun.  Candy Bar and Animal are the same, except you think of a candy bar or an animal.  We had lots of fun and laughs.

My cousin Christopher and I have been taking the same picture each year of us jumping in the pool together.  We usually take the picture on the last day Christopher is here.  I am sad because Topher (Christopher) is leaving tomorrow.  Tomorrow I am going to tell you about my top 5 memories from our time at Disney World.

Day 6 Time for Hollywood Studios

July 20, 2014

Today we went to Hollywood Studios.  They have a show called the American Idol Experience.  You get to watch contestants sing.  After everyone has sung, the audience gets to vote for the performer they liked the best.  Whoever wins, gets the chance to go on to the real American Idol.  The girl I voted for sang Let It Go, from Frozen.  Guess what???  She won!!!

Me at American Idol Experience in Hollywood Studios....2014

The girl in the middle was the winner!
During our Disney trip last year, we went to the American Idol experience and I got to audition.  Unfortunately you have to be 14 years old to compete and I was too young.  They said that I was so good and to come back when I was 14.  It was so much fun but it was getting late so we decided to go back to the hotel.  I can't wait for tomorrow.  We are going to Downtown Disney.  We are going to look to for Vinylmations.  They are small figures in the shape of Mickey Mouse.

Minnie and Mickey Vinylmations

My Granny has 100 or more of them.  I want to see if they have any cool new Vinylmations at Downtown Disney. My brother and I like to play with Granny's Vinylmations at her house.  I collect them also and love looking for them at the Disney stores.

Day 5 Let's go Soarin'.....

July 19, 2014

Today we went to Epcot Center.  Soarin' is located in the Land.  Soarin' is a very popular ride where you are strapped into a machine and feel like you are gliding across the state of California.  It is awesome and it is my favorite ride!

This is a short video of my Soarin' ride.

Another part of The Land that I have loved since I was 4 years old is Epcot Center's Living With the Land.  It is a ride that takes you through an area where they are growing fruits and vegetable's, fish and other things in alternative ways.  It is very interesting.  They also have baby alligators.  At Epcot Center they have a section of the park called the World Showcase.  You can walk around the world to eleven different countries.  We rode a boat over to Italy and we ate dinner there.  Everyone had a great time!  When Epcot closed, because we were staying at a Disney park hotel, we were able to go to the Magic Kingdom for after hours until 1:00 a.m.

We rode lots of rides like Buzz Lightyear (I beat Granny), Lelo and St, Arial and lots more.

Even though we were having so much fun, the fun had to end.  After a long day of fun in the sun, it was time to leave.  We all went back to the hotel on a ferry boat because the monorail was closed for the night.  Tomorrow is going to be super fun and I can't wait to tell you all about it!!!!
